Banners, Flags & Temporary Signage, Gold Coast

Signmakers Gold Coast prints and finishes temporary and promotional signage — banners, teardrop and feather flags, and A-frame footpath signs — in-house at Burleigh Heads.

Banners & Temporary by Signmakers Gold Coast

Temporary signage is for the things that change: a sale, an event, an opening, a season. It has to be produced quickly, it has to survive being put up and taken down repeatedly, and it should not look cheap while it is doing it.

The failure mode is buying the flimsiest option, having it fray or fade in a month, and buying it again. Hemmed and eyeletted banners on the right media outlast printed-and-trimmed ones by a wide margin, and the price difference is small.

We print on our own large format latex and solvent machines and finish in-house, so short-run and repeat promotional work is straightforward.

Printed Banners

Printed on large format latex and solvent machines and finished in-house with hems and eyelets so they can be tensioned properly and taken down and reused. Mesh is the right call on an exposed or windy site because it lets wind through rather than acting as a sail.

Flags

Teardrop, feather and blade flags, with poles, bases and ground spikes. They move, which is exactly why they catch attention where a fixed panel gets ignored, and they pack down between uses.

A-Frames & Footpath Signs

A-frames are the cheapest way to catch pedestrian traffic that has already walked past your frontage. Double-sided, portable, and replaceable panel faces so the message can change without buying the frame again.

Banners & Temporary — questions

What is the difference between a PVC banner and a mesh banner?

PVC is solid and gives the strongest colour. Mesh is perforated so wind passes through it. On an exposed fence line or a tall elevation, mesh is the safer choice because a solid banner acts like a sail and tears out its fixings.

Can banners be reused?

Yes, if they are finished for it. Hems and eyelets let a banner be tensioned and removed without tearing, which is what makes repeat use practical.

Do A-frame signs need council permission?

Footpath signage is generally regulated by the local council, and rules on placement and size vary. Check your local requirements, and we can advise on sizing to suit.

Do you supply flag hardware as well as the flags?

Yes, including poles, bases and ground spikes.
