Signmakers Gold Coast produces custom and one-off signage, including traditional hand signwriting, printed wallpaper and wall graphics, and retail sales displays.
Some jobs do not have a catalogue entry. A hand-lettered sign on a heritage frontage, a wall that needs to become a printed graphic, a display unit that has to hold product and survive being knocked about by customers.
This is where a workshop that actually fabricates matters more than a supplier that orders in. We have CNC machinery, a spray booth, print and laminating equipment and metal and aluminium fabrication in-house, plus tradespeople who still know how to letter a sign by hand.
Signwriting is not a nostalgia line. Among our team there is over 100 years of combined experience in the sign industry, which includes the traditional skills that predate vinyl and still produce a better result on certain jobs.
Traditional Signwriting
Hand signwriting still wins on heritage buildings, on surfaces vinyl will not sit on properly, and anywhere a sign should look made rather than applied. It is a trade skill, and it is one that is disappearing from the industry. Our team has been doing this work since 1979.
Printed Wallpaper & Wall Graphics
A printed wall turns an empty interior into part of the brand. We print in-house on large format machines and install to the wall, at any scale from a single feature panel to a full fitout. Common in offices, gyms, clinics, hospitality and retail.
Sales Displays & Point of Sale
Display units, stands and point of sale pieces that have to be handled by the public and still look right after a season on the floor. Because we fabricate as well as print, a display can be built rather than just printed onto board.

Do you still do traditional hand signwriting?
Yes. It is part of what we have done since 1979, and it is still the right answer on heritage frontages and on surfaces where applied vinyl does not perform.
Can you print wallpaper for an office or gym?
Yes. We print wall graphics and wallpaper in-house on large format machines and install them, from a single feature wall to a whole fitout.
Can you make a completely one-off sign?
That is most of what a real signwriting workshop does. Tell us what you are trying to achieve, and where it has to go, and we will work out how to build it.
Can you copy or restore an existing sign?
Often, yes. Send photos and dimensions of the existing sign with your enquiry and we will tell you what is possible.
