A pylon sign exists to be seen before a driver has to make a decision. Get the height and the legibility right and traffic turns in. Get it wrong and people find you on the second lap, if at all.
These are structural signs. They carry wind load, they need footings, and on most sites they need engineering and council approval before anything is fabricated. That process is part of the job, not an afterthought, and we can assist with applications, approvals and engineering specifications.

Do pylon signs need council approval?
Freestanding signage of any real height generally does, and requirements vary by location, height and whether the sign is illuminated. We can advise on your site and assist with council applications, approvals and engineering specifications.
Can you replace just one tenant panel on an existing pylon?
Yes. Tenancy changes on an existing centre pylon are common work. Send a photo of the pylon and the panel that needs changing with your enquiry.
How tall can a pylon sign be?
Height is usually set by what the planning scheme for your site permits rather than by what can be built. We work out the allowable envelope before designing the sign.
Do you install pylon signs as well as make them?
Yes. Our own installation team completes the work, and all Signmakers staff are white card holders.
